In the vast amount of projects I’ve worked on as head of the creative department a a beauty incubator, mobile app developer, and freelancer, I’ve found the most joy in collaboration with other creatives. One example where this collaboration was fun for all parties combined was the pre-launch marketing efforts for a skincare brand called sun+moon. This was a brand I came up with to focus on pretty packaging, kitschy names, and straightforward product types. It was designed to originally have a single hero SKU, as is often the trend in the beauty industry, however, it morphed into a capsule of skincare that appealed to everyone as an inclusive brand. I hired an influencer marketing duo out of Miami that created a youthful and playful ad campaign.
